What are your hours?
We are open 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday thru Friday and 10:00am – 3:00pm on Saturdays. To make an appointment outside of business hours, please call us at (218) 628-0501.
Do I need an appointment?
At West Duluth Sewing & Design, appointments are not required. However, if possible please call ahead of time with any specific requests you may need. Calling ahead of time also allows us to prep any equipment or material that may be needed for your request.
Can in-store purchased dresses be altered?
Yes! At West Duluth Sewing & Design, dresses that are purchased in-store can be altered to fit you like a glove. An additional alteration fee may be applicable.
Can you do alterations on clothing that I have purchased elsewhere?
Of course! West Duluth Sewing & Design is happy to work with anyone with any clothing article from anywhere– dresses, shirts, coats, pants, suits & more!
How much will my alteration cost?
A quote will be provided as an estimate for all potential costs. It is important to note that as work progresses on your item, some costs may increase as prices may fluctuate due to circumstances that may arise in the process of getting your article of clothing just as you requested. Quotes act as an estimate, and we strive to stay as close to your quote as possible.
Do you only alter formal clothing items?
Nope! West Duluth Sewing & Design will make alterations to most anything. This includes items such as shirts, jeans, pants, dresses, suits, zippers, and much more.
